The commission political activities, in Dutch ‘Commissie Binnenland’, tries to organize a political activity twice a month. These activities vary from lectures, debates, excursions and master classes, during a master class a professional will try to learn student’s competences which they can use during their study and the rest of their live. In past master classes training in scientific writing was given but there have also been master classes lobbying and negotiating.

The language used during most activities is Dutch, yet a few are in English. These activities have also a higher level and are mostly visited by master and international students. It is the goal of the commission to organize activities for master students and bachelor students.

The commission often works together with other associations and commissions to set up activities, an example is with the three political science associations, in this way the public is larger but you also learn to know the political science students in Amsterdam and Nijmegen.  

The commission is leaded by the commissioner Binnenland, in English you could call him political activities officer, and he is a member of the board and helps the commission to organize activities. The commission has brainstorm sessions about possible activities and then a few commission members will organize the activity.
